Basic Training Objectives

These training objectives outline the roles and goals for each member of the peer support or trauma response team.

Personnel responsible for workplace management	Personnel responsible for managing a proactive trauma response	Mental health professional who will conduct trauma interventions	Non-mental health professional who provide emotional first-aide
GOAL: Gain sufficient knowledge to understand the purpose and process of a PTM program in order to appropriately respond to the need for and response to shocking events in the workplace.	GOAL: Gain sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to manage a response to an incident.	GOAL: Gain sufficient knowledge and skill to manage and conduct all workplace trauma interventions.	GOAL: Gain sufficient knowledge and skill to assist in the coordination of PTM intervention and conduct peer one-on-one interventions.
